His second album, Deux Moi (Filibusta Records, 2024), is an introspective work that tells, through 11 tracks, a range of emotions, joys, sorrows, and life experiences seen from two different perspectives of the same person. This album explores the two personalities that coexist within the author, Federico, often in contrast with each other. This duality, reflecting a universal dynamic, helps define the complexity of human nature, always balancing between right and wrong, black and white, beauty and imperfection.

The soul of this quartet is rooted in representing Italian jazz across Europe, featuring Italian musicians who have gained artistic experience in Paris and Brussels over recent years. The main aim is to create a recognizable group sound founded on trust and deep musical connection, emphasizing collective interaction rather than individualistic approaches.

“Federico Milone must be a restless soul, a musician who searches and doubts as much as he dares. He is in constant pursuit of inner balance and, to find it, does not hesitate to dig into his roots. His alto saxophone sound can be vibrant and luminous, while his soprano can be fragile and deeply moving.

A truly fascinating discovery.”
